In a sunny savanna with golden grass and big brown mountains, lived a happy blue rhino named Rocky. Rocky was very strong, had a small white horn on his nose, and a cute little tail that wagged when he was happy.
One very hot afternoon, the sun was shining brightly over the flat plains. Rocky was looking for a place to rest. He walked past some spiky green bushes until he found a tall, leafy tree with a wide trunk.
”This is the perfect spot for a nap,” Rocky said with a smile.
As he was about to lie down in the cool shade, he saw a small meerkat running around in the heat. The meerkat looked very tired from the hot sun.
”Excuse me, Mr. Rhino,” the meerkat whispered. “May I share your shade? The sun is too hot for my small paws.”
Rocky looked at his big, blue body and then at the tiny meerkat. “Of course!” Rocky replied kindly. “There is plenty of room under this big tree for both of us”.
Rocky moved slightly to make more space. The meerkat happily rested next to Rocky’s strong legs. Rocky felt proud that he could use his discovery to help a smaller friend.
As the sun began to set behind the mountains, Rocky realized that the best part of finding a cool spot was sharing it with someone else. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, feeling like the luckiest rhino in the savanna.
