Once upon a time, in a very green meadow, lived a peacock named Percy. Percy was a very special peacock because his feathers were the brightest blue you had ever seen!

Every morning, when the sun woke up, Percy would walk around the meadow. He loved to look at the colorful flowers – the red ones, the yellow ones, and the orange ones. But Percy’s favorite thing was his own beautiful blue feathers.

One sunny day, a little butterfly with orange wings flew by. “Wow, your feathers are so blue!” said the butterfly. Percy smiled. He liked when other creatures admired his feathers.

Percy made many friends in the meadow. There was a busy bee who collected nectar from the flowers, and a little ladybug with seven spots. Percy would often show them his blue feathers, and they would all agree how pretty they were.

Sometimes, Percy would dance in the meadow, shaking his blue feathers so they shimmered in the sunlight. All the little creatures would stop and watch his beautiful dance. Percy loved making his friends happy with his bright blue feathers. He learned that being beautiful was fun, but having friends who loved you was even better. And so, Percy the blue peacock lived happily in the green meadow with all his friends.
