In a beautiful valley filled with tall pine trees and surrounded by big, purple mountains, lived a very smart crow named Casper. Casper had sleek black feathers, a strong beak, and very bright eyes that noticed everything.

Casper loved his home in the green meadow. While other birds liked to sing, Casper liked to solve puzzles. He was known as the “Thinker of the Valley.”

One sunny afternoon, a little squirrel named Sammy was crying near a patch of yellow grass. “I lost my favorite shiny blue marble!” Sammy sobbed. “I was playing near the pine trees, and now it’s gone”.

Casper stood tall on his black feet and looked at Sammy. “Don’t worry, Sammy,” Casper said. “I can see things from high above that you cannot see from the ground.”

Casper flapped his strong wings and flew up toward the clouds. He looked down at the meadow, the bushes, and the small purple flowers. Suddenly, he saw a tiny “sparkle” hidden under a large leaf near a rock.

He dove down quickly and landed right next to the shiny blue marble. “Caw! Caw! I found it!” he called out happily.

Sammy ran over and hugged his marble. “Thank you, Casper! You are so clever.”

Casper smiled and returned to his spot in the meadow. He realized that being smart and having sharp eyes was a wonderful way to help his friends. From that day on, whenever anyone lost something in the valley, they knew Casper the Clever Crow would find it.
