In a bright blue ocean, resting on the soft golden sand, lived a happy red starfish named Stella. Stella had five strong arms decorated with little dark spots, and she always wore a sweet smile on her face. She lived in a beautiful underwater garden filled with colorful purple corals and orange seashells.

Stella loved to watch the bubbles floating up toward the surface. She often wondered what it was like to be a real star in the sky. “The stars above me sparkle so brightly at night,” Stella thought. “I wish I could sparkle just like them.”

One day, while Stella was relaxing near a large purple coral, she saw her friend, a pink jellyfish, looking a bit lost.

”Stella, I am trying to find the way to the Great Reef, but the water is a bit cloudy today,” the jellyfish said.

Stella didn’t have wings to fly, but she knew the sandy floor very well. “Follow me!” she said cheerfully. Stella moved slowly and carefully across the sand, pointing the way with her bright red arms. As she moved, the sunlight from above hit her red skin, making her look like a glowing jewel under the water.

When they arrived at the reef, the jellyfish was so happy. “Thank you, Stella! You guided me just like a North Star.”

Stella beamed with joy. She realized that she didn’t need to be in the sky to sparkle. By being a helpful guide and a kind friend, she was already the brightest star in her own blue ocean.
