In a vibrant jungle where the trees reached the sky and colorful mountains stood in the distance, lived a very green and charming parrot named Polly. Polly had bright green feathers, orange wings, and a strong orange beak. She loved to perch on her favorite tree branch, listening to all the sounds of the jungle.

But Polly had a special talent: she could mimic any sound she heard! She could whistle like a monkey, roar softly like a lion, and even imitate the gentle rustle of the leaves.

One sunny morning, Polly woke up and noticed something was wrong. The jungle was too quiet. The usual morning chorus of birds was missing! She waited, but no beautiful songs filled the air.

Polly flew to her friend, a wise old owl. “Hoo-hoo, Polly,” hooted the owl. “Have you noticed? The jungle has lost its morning melody!”

”Yes!” squawked Polly. “But why?”

The owl sighed. “A mischievous little wind blew away all the birds’ songs last night. They don’t know how to sing anymore.”

Polly felt sad. A silent jungle was not a happy jungle. She knew she had to help. She didn’t have her own special song, but she could remember all the other birds’ songs!

She flew to the highest branch, took a deep breath, and started to sing. First, she mimicked the sweet chirping of the little blue bird. Then, she imitated the cheerful trill of the yellow finch. She whistled like the scarlet macaw and sang like the nightingale.

One by one, as Polly sang their songs, the other birds remembered! Their eyes lit up, and they started to sing along with her. Soon, the entire jungle was filled with the most beautiful music, louder and happier than ever before!

Polly, the parrot with the amazing memory, had brought the jungle’s melody back. The other birds cheered for her, flying around her in circles.

Polly learned that day that her unique talent for imitating was not just for fun; it was a powerful gift she could use to help others. She didn’t need to create a new song; she just needed to help everyone remember their own. From that day on, Polly was not just a parrot; she was the Jungle’s Melody Keeper, always ready to help a friend find their voice.
